Business Hazardous Materials
Outagamie County Recycling & Solid Waste does not accept hazardous materials from businesses!
Hazardous waste is any discarded material that is a listed hazardous waste or demonstrates the characteristics of being flammable, corrosive, reactive, or toxic.
The Brown County Hazardous Material Recovery (HMR) Facility accepts hazardous materials from businesses that qualify as a Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG). A VSQG is a business that generates up to 220 lbs. per month or accumulates up to 2,205 lbs. onsite. Wastes like latex paint, electronics, lamps, or other “non-hazardous” materials do not count toward a business’ generator status.
Businesses are required to complete both sides of this form to schedule an appointment at the Brown County HMR Facility for their year-round hazardous materials collection service. Download, complete, and send the form via email to RR.HHW@browncountywi.gov or fax to (920) 492-4957.
